Fund-A-Need
Our Fund-A-Need tonight is at the core of our mission – sheltering these helpless animals.
While we’re all grateful the drought has subsided, the barrage of storms this winter have pushed our aging roof to its limit.
Whenever it rains, water literally streams into both our dog and cat adoption housing areas - as well as our dog critical care ward, the animal care hub (intake of animals, feeding, medications, evaluations, etc.), and even our clinic surgery prep area. The roof was installed more than 25 years ago and is in critical need of replacement.
And if that weren’t bad enough, several components of our HVAC system are in need of replacement, including the system servicing our small companion animals and exotics ward which failed beyond repair in January (don’t worry, all were moved to safe locations).
These items – essential in our ability to shelter animals – are estimated to
cost more than $100,000.
Donations made by noon on March 4th will be included in the Fund -A -Need total
the evening of the gala.
Donations of $1,000 or more will be recognized from stage.
Thank you for your generous support!
