Getaway for Two to See the Elephants

Lions and Tigers and... Elephants! Take a trip to Northern California’s Gold Country and visit Performing Animal Welfare Society's (PAWS) ARK 2000 Sanctuary to see elephants and other rescued wildlife! This two-day getaway for two begins on a Friday when you check-in to a lovely B&B located in the charming village of Murphys, just a short drive from the sanctuary. On Saturday morning, you’ll join a small, select group for an extraordinary behind-the-scenes experience as this sanctuary is not open to the public. Spend the day getting to know the PAWS’ rescued elephants, tigers, and bears and learn about critical issues impacting these animals in captivity. A vegan lunch will be served overlooking the habitats' vistas. Your host guide is PAWS' sanctuary founder and president, Ed Stewart.

Please note, the tour may involve periods of walking. No pets are allowed, and smoking is prohibited. Good for one year. Small group access occurs during predetermined timeframes throughout the year.
